Shake It Off: Doing the Same Things

In a sea of "I resolve to" this January, I challenge and encourage you to join in the chorus of “I quit!" Now, I know that sounds counterintuitive, but hear me out... As women, we’re the doers. We get it done, we make it work, we squeeze it in – many times at the detriment to our own health and wellbeing. Well, 2023 is the year that we’re going to QUIT. Let’s QUIT burning ourselves out for no reason; Let’s QUIT being so focused on what other people are going through that we miss our own journey entirely. So this week, we’re saying goodbye to: Doing the same thing over again and expecting different results.
You know, some would even call that the definition of insanity. Yikes. I wager we’ve all found ourselves in an ‘insanity’ cycle at one point in time. But are you stuck there now? Are you destined to repeat 2022 in 2023?
The answer is really quite simple: If you want different results, you’ve got to "do" different. |
