 The Cliff Notes Version: 
Back at the end of June of this year, I knew something was off: 
- I was in pain, I was exhausted, my stomach was constantly bloated, I was irritable, my motivation (which is usually amped up) was fading...my body was off to say the least.
 
- My Coach D. side said, "listen, rest, seek help, & figure it out."
 
- My Derith side said, "you'll be fine, push through, just do a little more."
 
- I listened to the Derith said for 3 more months... until I couldn't
 
 
I reached out to a functional nutritionist to help me: 
- Just with my intake form, she knew something "off".
 
- She ordered a slew of tests, panels, etc, to get some answers.
 
- After taking some very interesting tests, the results were in
 
 
Adrenal fatigue, broken gut, & whacky hormones: 
- And that's just the tip of the iceberg
 
- I was immediately instructed to reduce workouts by 50%, get more sleep, cut out gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol, and snacking 
    
- But wait... there's more... I also had H. Pylori, gut dysbiosis, and high levels of inflammation which led her to give me a Paleo protocol to follow for my nutrition.
