1. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
The temps are going up and we’re finally at that time of the year when we get to be outside all the time. Do your body right and prioritize hydration this week!
Make a big pitcher of water with sliced fruit and sip on it all day. Stock your cooler with your favorite sparkling water flavor.
Get yourself a silly water jug like this and hit your daily water intake all summer long!

2. Find what works for your summer schedule.
All of our schedule’s change in the summer! And that’s okay. It’s the ebb and flow of the seasons and life and honestly I like that things get to change periodically throughout the year. So if your schedule is changing, don’t be afraid to let your healthy habits change, too!
Are you spending the summer in a new place away from your home gym? Give FIERCE on Demand a try! Are you losing child care that you relied on to get your workouts in? Try out a family walk each night after dinner!
Are you eating out way more than you normally would? Try focusing on getting protein, fat, and greens on your plate, even when you’re not cooking. Build new healthy habits this summer that work FOR you, not against you.

3. Embrace seasonal cooking and eating.
Summer brings such a bountiful harvest of delicious produce! Grilling is also my favorite way to cook pretty much everything in the summer (bonus - you don’t heat up your already sweltering house with the oven/stove!).
Choose some new-to-you but delicious looking produce at the grocery store or farmer’s market (you could even let your kids choose!) and make a hearty summer salad or throw it on the grill! Embrace local and season food this summer and see where it takes you!
