Here at FIERCE, we’re anchored by our five pillars:

FITNESS, FUEL, FULFILLMENT, FRIENDSHIP, & FUN

It can be easy to toss around those words and say that we value those things, because most of us do! But we’re not just talking about working out and eating veggies every day; you don’t have to have 50 friends or spend every free moment with other people, either.

So what do all of these things look like on a practical, day-to-day basis?

The FIERCE life is all about…

Gaining clarity on where you are and where you want to go
Identifying and overcoming roadblocks
Being flexible in our mindset and constantly flipping the script
Creating and maintaining exceptional energy
Striving for balance in all aspects of life
Setting and holding to boundaries
Activating our learning by making lasting changes
Maintaining our efforts through repetition

Each Tuesday this month, we’ll focus on how to live fiercely every day, in the most practical of ways. As we finish out 2022 as strong as we started, here are some ways to incorporate balance into your life during arguably the busiest month of the year.

Amidst all the social gatherings December has to offer, pick your poison, instead of indulging in them all. Why not opt for either dessert or alcohol. If the occasion calls for both (because sometimes they do!) try ordering a smaller dessert and sharing. Sometimes a little bit still hits the spot.
If you struggle to find healthy options you like to eat at parties or holiday gatherings, volunteer to bring your own! That way, you know you’ll have a healthy snack to munch on in a sea of delicious desserts. You’ll make sure you are both satisfied by a filling food and able to enjoy some treats without filling up on them exclusively.
Balance out the sweaty workouts with some stretchy ones, too! Don’t run your body into the ground with high intensity exercise after high intensity workout after another. For every HITT class, add a stretch and a walk to balance yourself out.
Listen to yourself and YOUR body during a chaotic, emotional, joyous, and monumental month. Only you can know what YOU need and it's up to you to lean in, listen, and honor what you need.
