September is here, and with it brings the flurry of anticipation, activity, and excitement that comes with the start of a new season, perhaps a new school year, and loads of transitions.

As tempting as it can be to dive straight into the chaos and overwhelm, I hope you’ve spent some time reflecting on the joys and challenges of the summer and have made specific intentions around what you want this season to look like.

But as we navigate a new season with new goals and intentions amongst stress and chaos, I am going to share with you my secret weapon for success: friendship.

Not necessarily what you thought the secret weapon would be?!

Well, if life has taught me anything thus far, it’s how much I can’t do it on my own and how much I need other people. My friends have literally run by my side as I’ve trained for athletic endeavors; and they’ve also poured me a glass of wine when I needed to vent, cry, or word-vomit my feelings.

The very best part of this FIERCE tribe IS our tribe. We have the most incredible, gritty, determined, and empathetic women in our midst–it’s time to take advantage of this amazing sisterhood!

Trust me, I know that making friends at any age is difficult, but especially when you’re an established individual who has a family, career, and a life. I’m not asking you to go talk to a random stranger and try and make them a new friend. Instead, let’s view September as an opportunity to cultivate sisterhood–right here with FIERCE.
