Good Morning ;
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday, let’s start off the week by setting our intentions filled with gratitude.
Developing a spirit of thankfulness is a lot like working out—the more you do it, the more habitual it becomes.
Gratitude doesn’t need to be reserved for special holidays, like Thanksgiving; it can be practiced every day, all year round.
What does your gratitude practice look like today?
How can you further cultivate gratitude this holiday season?
Let's keep it simple with 3 little ways...
Keep a gratitude journal. Taking a few minutes per day to reflect on what you’re thankful for can make a huge impact on the rest of your day. It also makes a special way to look back on your week, month, year, etc., all through the lens of gratitude.
Say thank you. It sounds simple, but actively look for opportunities each day to thank those around you. Your barista, your neighbor, the mailman—when you are focused on opportunities to thank those around you, you’ll be surprised how it changes the focus of your day and energy.
Extend your gratitude practice. Include those around you in your gratitude practice! Whether it be sharing moments of thanks around the dinner table, on the way to school, on the phone or with a coworker, cultivate thankfulness amongst your social relationships.
As we begin to close out 2022, we wanted to share 22 quotes and sayings about gratitude to refresh your perspective this week.
Meditate on one each day, share them with family or friends, or use them as part of your Thanksgiving traditions.
